Rock and Soil Mechanics (RSM) , found in 1979, is a peer-reviewed monthly journal (print), and its English version (OA online, DOAJ) launched in 2020. The RSM is supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), sponsored by the Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, CAS. The scope of RSM covers the rock mechanics, soil mechanics, geomaterials, geotechnical engineering, mining engineering, hydraulic engineering, petroleum engineering, geoEnergy, as well as new testing techniques, numerical methods. RSM hopes to provide an opportunity for colleagues from all over the world to understand the current developments in rock mechanics, soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering, and to publish high-quality original and innovative papers.
