Research Interests | Prof. Li is mainly engaged in research on prevention and control of geohazards like water and mud inrush in tunnels and underground engineering. By focusing on the causes, prediction, prevention and control of adverse geology in tunnels, he has made substantial progress in the geological forward-prospecting of adverse geology and management of major disasters like water and mud inrush in tunnels. The research achievements have been successfully applied to series of underground and tunnel projects in the railway, highway and water conservancy fields, avoiding major water and mud inrush, collapse and other disasters, making an important contribution to disaster prevention and control. |
